Country Artist TJ Young, Is A Third Generation Professional Singer/Songwriter and Entertainer. The Daughter of Career Recording Legend, Artist Bob Edgar, TJ herself has made a successful career of music since 1991. Her natural voice has a definite country sound with intonations of blues. TJ Young has blazed her own successful trail in the music industry. She started her career as an early morning radio show host for Country KRGO, moving into the fast pace night clubs as a singer, mobil dj and host and finally moving into the recording world with several singles and her new album. TJ is a magnetic person who makes other people feel good about themselves. She is fun to be around though mannerly and gracious. On Stage TJ expresses herself with grace and charm. She is a gentle performer but stands on the edge of the stage as though she just can’t get close enough to her audience. TJ Young is a female, country - rock - crooner. She is best described in the words of her Producer, Legends Hall of Fame, Robert Metzgar.
“ Of all the voices in the country music business, TJ Young’s rendition of, “Every Once In A Blue Moon” will make you feel like you’ve just heard Patsy Cline sing “live” at the Grand Ole Opry. It will take you back to the days when country music legends walked among men. Legends like Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, and June Carter Cash don’t come along in life very often. That’s why TJ Young’s music touches you so deeply. She is of the same cloth, the same passion, and the same hit songs.
If you want to book an average singer at your venue that’s one thing, but if you want to book a voice that stars are made out of, Then get TJ Young for the crowd you want to come back over and over. You wont be disappointed. TJ Young is a consummate professional, a true entertainer with all the class you would expect from a Grand Ole Opry star in Nashville. Her album and her life speak volumes about the greatest legends in the music industry. As you listen to her latest album,” Once in a Blue Moon,” you are reminded that great female country singers only come along that same way, once in a blue moon. And, this voice says it all.
Congratulations on one of the great albums I’ve worked on in the city of Nashville.”
-Producer Robert Metzgar Legends Hall Of Fame
